About us

Cebu CFI Community Cooperative is one of the biggest and oldest cooperatives in the country. It is an incorporated cooperative existing since 1970. It is duly registered as a Cooperative in Good Standing with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA). CFI is a members-only incorporated entity which has over the years, grown to more than 155,000 members and continues to grow by the day because of the benefits enjoyed from membership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy/Management Accounting, and or related field;
• With work experience is an advantage.

Core Competencies

• Proficient in MS Office
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision;
• Organized, detail oriented and with strong interpersonal skills.

Scope of Work

• Responsible for the proper reconciliation between bank and book balances;
• Encodes journal entries that includes adjustment of erroneous entries made, distribute funds between the coop’s bank accounts, computation of proceeds from membership withdrawals and death claims;
• Responsible for financial recording of transactions;
• In charge of verifying bank deposits made by members.
